5 reasons why you shouldn't vote NDA

During the last few years, India has time and again been jolted awake by rude shocks. Now and then, huge scams have been un-earthed. The United Progressive Alliance(UPA) in adherence to their name, have proved to be progressive... atleast in the domain of "Corruption". It has already been labelled the most corrupt government in History.

When a scam is uncovered, We the people of India... can do nothing but, look helplessly, at TV screen flashing these breaking news. Underneath we are all seething with anger..

and when, elections come, it is our time to vent our anger...

So you too have been furious over the Congress/UPA ? What would you do in elections.. This time Vote NDA?

Here are reasons why you shouldn't vote the BJP or NDA..

  • BJP and NDA failed to put up a strong opposition since 2004
The NDA was sitting in the Parliament, while all these scams happened. The UPA ministers may have accomplished all the mission scams... but the opposition failed in stopping them.

The opposition is supposed to be vigilant. They are there to check the ruling party/alliance at every step. The NDA wasn't ruling... they weren't checking.. Then what were they doing in parliament?

  • The NDA shouldn't get the benefit of doubt
The greatest impact on the nation's mood was made by Team Anna and Baba Ramdev, who stirred up the nation against corruption... To add to heat to our already boiling blood, were facebook posts and twitter tweets that spread from screen to screen like wild fire..

The opposition party.. BJP seems to be the direct and biggest beneficiary of this situation.

But that UPA is drowning in the "corruption" swamp doesn't mean that BJP has no mud on its collar. To punish a mischievous kid.. you cannot reward the less mischievous.
  • There aren't many Promising leaders in NDA
Narendra Modi as PM, is certainly promising. But what about other port folios? There are only a handful of leaders.. those you can count on finger tips, who seem capable of handling important portfolios... the rest will all go to alliance parties.
  • BJP chose the politics for vote not politics for people
They have no contribution in this nation's recent awakening. For 8 long years they had sunk into inactivity.. and when elections drew closer.. and they found a suitable and favourable situation.. they cashed on it.

and last but not the least
  • BJP has failed to wipe the non-secular scars and establish itself as a truly developmental institution in recent years
Remember Rahul Gandhi living with villager's in UP... when the Congress wasn't in power, they did a lot of ground work. The solidarity they showed with the poor may have been fake, but they gained confidence of the voters. Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka.. painted a picture of Congress as "Uplifter of the poor".
True that they did not live upto all that they promised.. but atleast at that time they strived to create the impression of congress being a truly Progressive party..

BJP, whom I believe have a greater degree of honesty, in the last 8 years has made no effort to do any ground work. They have diplomatically answered and got off any major issue.. where they could have actively participated..
As they say  There are no free lunches... and BJP should not get what it has not worked for !!

If you are one of the many voters who are neither suporting Congress/UPA nor NDA then this post could be of interest to you

Agree with you on all the points, but if not BJP who else?

Yes.. that remains a question mark... all through the years we have seen and thought of only two options.. either the Congress or the BJP...

We are however seeing the rise of a third option... the Anna party .. but again elections are very close and time for them is very short

Yes Satya Prakash.. all eyes are set on the Anna party...

What we have to see is, whether Anna party can be formed... if formed can it contest elections.. and if it does.. will it win?

Soham.. We have to admit that during the NDA rule, the work was much more and loot was much less...
and about fair chance to work.. it is difficult who is really willing to actually get down on out there, and do what is needed
