Army for land, Airforce for the skies, Navy for the seas.. But the CyberSpace ?? unprotected !!

Cricket, bollywood and now a new domain pursued passionately by the Indians-- Technology.
The cricket-maniac, bollywood-crazy Indian masses are noe turning tech-savvy. 30% of the Indian youth today have multimedia phones.
and the elite 25% of them have smartphones loaded with features.

Every new tech-trend that emerges finds us welcoming it with open arms.
Well it might be the same for teenagers all around the world.. but let's focus on Indians.

How many students today have the world at their fingertips? Well that is not exactly the point I am trying to make...

The point I want to point towards is- are we educated enough to handle the digitization of our lives?? (and I am not talking about our degrees)

The Prime Minister who died Poor.... Lal Bahadur Shastri !!!

"There comes a time in the life of every nation when it stands at the cross-roads of history and must choose which way to go. But for us there need be no difficulty or hesitation, no looking to right or left. Our way is straight and clear—the building up of a socialist democracy at home with freedom and prosperity for all, and the maintenance of world peace and friendship with all nations."
These are the words of Lal Bahadur Shastri - a man forgotten in time!

It is easy to remember leaders whose flamboyant pictures flash through our history books and the newspapers... But Shastriji... you rarely find any picture of his where he has flanked a pose, or is dressed up candidly.

He is a man who could not(and did not want to) "buy" a place in history.

Should SUPREME POWER be vested in the JanLokPal... why not??

Those opposing a strong Lokpal bill have been heard saying that
"Unlimited or supreme power cannot be vested in the lokpal to take action against the prime minister who is elected through an electoral process"

The people who run this country seem to be so unaware of the Indian Political system. The PM is elected to run the nation, not rule the nation. He is not a monarch. He is  on a job to serve the nation, and the citizens as well as the law has every right to question him. (let's not forget, that our current PM is not even an elected representative of the people).

Ideally, an MP is supposed to represent the opinion of people of his constituency in the Parliament. But this is seldom done, we elect a member to represent us in the Parliament, but all he/she does is represent the strength of his party. As people we have only the power to vote, and this power is vested into the MP we elect. Once this is done, our power gets converted into the ruling party's power, and more often than not misused for their personal and party's benefit. They exploit the power for around 3.5 years.. and in the last 1.5 years, do something trivial, but exaggerated  for their constituency, so that they are back "IN POWER" again in the next elections.

The JAN, The LOK and the PAL...

The final meeting of the drafting committee is over. And it has been a successful one... for the Govt.

Apparently the JAN LOK PAL bill draft which is supposed to do good to the JAN (public) and the LOK(aam aadmi).. is or actually going to be a good PAL for the corrupt.

What have we done??? Call me a sceptic.. but seriously we have messed up big time!!

Greater responsibility on the people... Be Vigilant Dear Indians... !!!

Baba Ramdev's movement was crushed by an iron HAND(yes... the "hand").
Alongside, like a child reciting the only poem he knows over and over again,  a senior representative of congress went out smearing the Baba and his aides, with whatever random charges came to him. The same had been done to the Bhushans, Kiran Bedi, Anna and Arvindji.

It is not only sad, but also shocking that the Govt. and its unscrupulous ministers had no qualms in initiating such a dreadful mass attack on its people.  The treatment met out to people at the Ram-Lila maidan has also shown us, what fate we are going to meet if we speak out. Dear Indians, it is our duty to take this movement ahead.. in a streamlined compact manner, without leaving loose threads that can be pulled out by the Govt. to un-knit our unity.

The sufferers of the MidNight Crackdown..

On the night of 4th June 2011, people dreaming of a Corruption-free and strong nation, woke up to a rude rude shock!!  Like ravaging vultures, the Delhi Police and RAF swooped down on the unsuspecting people asleep at the Ram Lila Maidaan.. Blows, Lathis and tear-gas soon followed..

The tear gas not only hurt the eyes of people, who were at the Ram Lila Maidaan.. but it also brought tears to the eyes of people who actually saw the visuals on TV ( the earliest visuals showed the brutality met out to people.... by 6 am it had been completely CENSORED, probably by the UPA)

The great Indian khichdi...

Baba Ramdev is going to commence his fast tomorrow.. with more than 60,000,00 people applauding him for his idea of bringing back Indian money stowed away in foreign banks.

Baba Ramdev supported Anna Hazare @ Jantar Mantar. Before that Baba had, for sometime been talking against corruption and Bharat Swabhiman during his yoga classes, which has a vast viewership across india.
However before Anna and his team's fast, Babaji had never come up with any action plan( and a fast unto death was possibly not on his mind )
Hazare's success probably hinted Baba to go ahead with the same way of protest for his set of demands.
Its a very legitimate demand indeed. The Yoga guru has always expressed his dreams and plans of strengthening India and Indians. A simple man, evidently honest and truthful... is Babaji shrewd enough to tackle men like Kapil Sibal?
